Why I Sing Songs Of Other Artistes, Peter Okoye Opens Up
During Mr P’s (Peter Okoye) recent tour of America, the singer courted some criticisms.
His trouble came from the fact that he performed songs that were not his.
That he performed those songs at a time when his twin brother had already taken credit for the songs they made as a music group (P-Square) made the criticism more intense.
Reacting to the criticisms, Mr P recently explained why he sang the songs he is being criticised for.
According to Peter Okoye, the songs served as inspiration and motivation. The singer, further explained that there was nothing special about his performance of songs of other Nigerian and foreign artistes, stating that it was the norm while he was still with his ex-group, P-Square especially when they are on foreign tours.
