Simi In Faceoff With Yahoo Boys

Singer, Simi, might just have started a war between her and a section of her fans.
The pop musician called out her fans involved in advance fee fraud to desist from buying her songs or watching her videos.
The singer made the call in an Instagram live session on Friday, April 5.
Having been challenged by a fan who told her that Yahoo boys were the ones buying her songs on digital platforms and watching her videos on YouTube, Simi said that if buying her music was a way of rationalising crime, they should not purchase her songs anymore, addingh that it was wrong to glorify something (fraud) that was wrong.
Simi added that Nigerians need to change their mindset about Yahoo boys if we want the world to see us in a different light.
Simi will release her third studio album titled ‘Omo Charlie Champagne’ on April 19, a day which coincides with her 31st birthday.
