Shots Fired: Davido Insinuates Desmond Elliot Has Failed Youths
There is a silent war of words building up between musician Davido, and lawmaker, Desmond Elliot.
Following the #EndSARS protest and the call for more youth participation in the politics of the country, there have been those who have speculated that even with more young people becoming active in government, the country could still be a failure.
Joining the discuss, Davido seemed to have fired a shot at Desmond Elliot when he retweeted a tweet which posited that “Desmond Elliot is proof that a young person could be the President of this country and still fail us.”
Retweeting the tweet, Davido added a caption which read “this tweet underrated”.
Elliot who is one of the new and young lawmakers in the Lagos State House of Assembly is yet to react to the tweet.
Recall that the attack on Desmond Elliot started following speculation that he was behind the attempt to regulate freedom of speech on social media, an allegation he has since denied.
