SARS Palaver: Olamide Advocate Chill Pill

Rapper, Olamide, is not joining the campaign against the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Rather he is advocating the chill pill. Known for his street fame, the rapper opted to advise people to stay safe rather than get into violence in any issue that involves SARS.
Unlike musicians such as Ruggedman, Falz, Praiz and several others who have directly called out SARS, Olamide is taking a more patient option.
In a Twitter post, he wrote: “Everyone out there, please try and be safe… There is nothing more important in life than keeping yourself alive. I think it’s better you follow them to the station than get into argument that might lead to violence. We all can do better.”
In recent times, there have been several cases of extra judicial killings by both men of the police and operatives of SARS.
Only weeks back, the killing of a football fan known as Kolade Johnson by operatives of SARS was a major talking in Lagos State. And just before that frizzled down, another set of police men went on rampage killing a 20 years old girl, while leaving her boyfriend with a life threatning injury.
