Reps Summon EFCC Chairman, NCoS CG, Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan Others

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukayode, the Comptroller General the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Bobrisky, and VeryDarkMan are expected to appear before the House of Representatives today, Monday, September 30.
Also to appear in the Green Chamber are all officers involved in the prosecution of Bobrisky.
The House Of Representatives summoned the aforementioned individuals following the break of a humongous scandal in which operatives of the EFCC and NCoS were indicted.
In an audio conversation made public by social critic, VeryDarkMan, allegedly claimed that he paid N15 million to EFCC to drop money laundering charges brought against him. He also said that he spent time in a VIP facility instead of prison after he was sentenced to six months for abuse of naira.
In a letter dated 27th September 2024, the committee asked Olukayode, Nababa to appear before it today, September 30th.
