Read Femi Fani-Kayode’s response to moves by PDP National Working Commitee to investigate him
Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to moves by the PDP National Working Committee to investigate him.
Reacting during a Channels TV interview he said “The issue they addressed in their letter will be addressed by the people they wrote their letter to. I will not dignify that kind of rubbish with any kind of response. What I am trying to tell you is that I will not be put on the defensive here. Those that need to be on the defensive are those that cheated their party members, Those that lied to their party members, those that betrayed the presidential campaign organization and sought to degrade us and ensured that we couldn’t do our job.
These are the people that have questions to answer and I am saying to you, I am reiterating a call of the overwhelming majority of party members, overwhelming number of governors, overwhelming number of elder statesmen within the party. And that call is simply this, They should resign. That is the issue for us. And we are happy that Muazu had finally answered the call and done the honorable thing. When will Metuh do it? When will Oladipo do it? When will the rest of them do it? That is what we are waiting for. So its not about Femi Fani Kayode. Its not about my record in public office. What it is about is that their time is long overdue and they need to go. And the other issue is that I stand by what we said yesterday. All the comments we made about them. Their ineptitude their greed and their cowardice and their malicious intent”he said
