President Buhari Reacts To Death Of Former Inspector General Of Police

President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of Muhammadu Gambo Jimeta, a former Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Gambo Jimeta reportedly died on Thursday, January 21, at the age of 83.
In a statement by the spokesperson for the president, Garba Shehu, he disclosed that Buhari had conveyed his condolences to the family of the late police boss.
The president in the statement described Jimeta as a good police detective and a man of great courage.
He stated that the late ex-IGP was an intellect who served the nation with all his strength. Buhari described Jimeta’s death as a loss to the nation, praying for God to grant the soul of the departed rest.
The president said: “May Allah bless his soul and give fortitude to the bereaved family, the government and people of Adamawa State to bear this irreparable loss.”
