The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja today Monday, August 31.
He was received by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari.
Adeboye’s visit follows the controversial CAMA law recently singed. The law which has attracted a lot of backlashes enables the Federal government to remove and replace the board of trustees of any church.
While some clergymen have thrown their weight behind the new law, others like Bishop David Oyedepo, Primate Elijah Ayodele and Apostle Suleman have come out to vehemently oppose it.
However, Adeboye is yet to publicly comment on the new law and some people think that he would rather have a private meeting with the Vice President than a public outcry.
