Ayoola died after a brief illness at the age of 55 years old.
He was ill for two weeks and was on admission at a private hospital around Iyaganku, Ibadan where he died on Thursday, May 14.
The Oyo-born politician represented Oyo East state constituency between 1999 and 2003.
The cause of his death is not yet disclosed.
