Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi Joins Fight Against COVID-19
Not all men will fight COVID-19 in the same manner as Jim Ovia, Segun Agbaje, Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija amongst others who have committed billions to eradicate the virus.
Other notable men and women will adopt a different approach to the fight, as the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi has done.
Though the Ooni has not committed a humongous sum to fight the virus, he has to a large extent used his position as a leading monarch to endorse the general stay at home message, shutting his palace to visitors and socio-cultural events.
Pending the discovery of a vaccine for the virus, the Ooni will only be open to visitors with an essential mission.
