Olamide’s Protegee, Asake Land In Serious Trouble
Nigeria’s music rave, Asake might have landed himself in big trouble after he was condemned for the unauthorised usage of a photo.
The singer was slammed by Racheal Ikumelo, the sister of Rebecca Ikumelo, the Nigerian lady, who died during the stampede that occurred at a concert organised by the singer.

Recall that Asake had a concert in Brixton O2 Academy on Thursday, December 15, 2022, but the event could not hold due to a stampede that led to the death of Rebecca and another person died, while several other people were injured.
Asake had another concert organised at the same venue yesterday, Sunday, August 20, 2023, and paid tribute to those that died in the first concert by displaying their image.
However, in reacting to the singer’s move, Ikumelo asked why Asake would use her sister’s photo without contacting her family,
