Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has clarified a statement she made earlier in the week.

Recall that the actress had revealed during a recent live conversation with a friend on Instagram that she met her husband during a sightseeing with one of her ‘20 ex-boyfriends’

“I went to visit my boyfriend and I was so angry about why we had to go sightseeing, but when we got there I met a cute man.

“When I started with my husband I forgot I was to have boyfriends; of course, I had like 20. When people think I don’t have a choice, I’m like what”, she had said.

However, the mention of 20 boyfriends seems to have created an impression that she was promiscuous as a young lady.

Clarifying the misgivings, the actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to state that it is true that she had twenty boyfriends as a young girl, however, she kept her virginity till she got married.

The mother of two said her clarification is aimed at pacifying her husband and educating young girls.

She wrote; “Hey everyone I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend ish solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boyfriends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body.

“And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex.

“But hold on! What did you guys expect na? It was your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels of course men and ladies would admire. So everyone chill pls,” she added.
