One has to be very careful how one deals with this Baba, as he is allegedly swift to set the authorities on you.
His record in that regard is there for all to see, and as I really do not want to be a notch on his belt, especially with my upcoming production on Asaba, a neighbouring village to his, I must tread very carefully.

Senator Ned Nwoko

A crying Regina Daniels
We have all been regaled by a clip showing his wonderful wife in trauma.
What we have heard is that the distinguished Senator set ‘thugs on his wife’ and it took her biological siblings to protect her from the onslaught
On her part, Regina is seen in the clip lamenting that ‘she is a Queen in her home, but nothing in Nwoko’s house’.
This morning, the Senator was said to have released his version of the story.
From what I have read, she is supposed to be into drugs, and the supposed brother is her drug supplier, and the fight was triggered by his insistence that she go into rehab locally and internationally, and this led to her going on a rampage, leading to the destruction of property, including a gleaming red Ferrari
You see, judging from Senator Nwokos’ precedent, it will take a massive dose of Jesus mentality to support him on this matter or any other matter.
My brother, Azuka Jebose, authored a scathing piece on this matter in which he recalled his ancestral king being humiliated and arrested by this oga.
He also recalled so many heinous crimes he attributed to him that were committed against his people, and as such, he could only label him a terrorist.
Well, I had heard some of these stories too, some too gruesome to recall on a Sunday afternoon.
I have also heard that some of these things were done with the present-day estranged Regina in full support
One of my close friends and an Oil and Gas major player, in stepping in to rescue his Obi, was also attacked by Regina and her people using her huge followership on social media.
Today, the bubble has burst, and truthfully, Sen may have met his match with his unruly beautiful wife.
This was always going to happen.
This implosion was very inevitable, especially if you took into consideration the inputs that have gone into this very embarrassing occurrence.
Polygamy, income and class disparity, age and a man who was monarchical and set in his ways
There was no way Regina would not have rebelled after being pulled out of a lower income bracket, given the exposure she got being his wife, growing in confidence and all
According to Azuka’s write-up, which I cannot definitely say is spewed with facts, he alleged that she told him point-blank at some point that she was tired of the marriage when he admonished her from going to a gentle men’s club.
You see, what Senator missed is the fact that he remained rigid and insensitive towards the growing confidence of his muse
You can no longer cage someone whom you have exposed so much
She was born into poverty and as such doesn’t have the guard rails that come with a silver spoon upbringing, which would guide her behaviour as she grows into adulthood
Her starry-eyed exposure to affluence will lead to a desire for more, which would lead her to see Nwoko as a grinch and not good enough for her
Where she is now, it’s Idris Elba that should be swigging champagne with her in Monaco instead of this old-torn elder with no chin and who would be breaking kola nut and threatening her with ancient curses.
She is in the prime of her life, sufficiently talented and strong, within a network where it matters most to her – Nollywood and access, thanks to Ned, to powers that be, what exactly would she be needing him for
You would be surprised, it could be a fellow Senator or a State Governor that could be needling these crises, offering her more money and affluence than Ned can ever afford.
Ned lacks the guile and flexibility to handle this madness that he has groomed over the years.
If he is expecting appreciation and gratitude for bringing her from nothing, then he must be a big fool
Too many men have gone through this path. You pick a nobody from the slum, wash her up, give her an education and project her and the next thing she flies the coop and says thanks but no thanks
Like I have earlier said, it’s very hard to pity my mentor.
He should have turned the other eye and not attempted to ‘discipline’ like he has his other wives.
He must realise that this one is a wild horse that can never be tamed
This is not to say that others who went through this path have not come out successful o
Shade Okoya comes to mind. Age gap, even wider, income gap wider and level of exposure greater
But with good grooming, inclusive enhancement, Shade has become the leading light of that huge family
You can take in an extremely young lass, grow her, guide her, parent her, wife her and be extremely patient and then see her grow into a responsible leader in the family like Shade and many others have done and many others will still do.
But it takes a different kind of man to do that, and I suspect that Ned is not that kind of man, and this is why he is now having feaces all over his face and in the public.
It’s not too late to salvage things; he should retrace his footsteps and work very closely with his in-laws to get his wife back
Failure which, I suspect that Regina could turn into a deadly weapon in the hands of his enemies – and they are plenty – since she knows where the skeletons are buried
Already, the allegations of domestic violence gives her a bazooka over him.
I’m sure she can safely say that it is the beating and life with him that drove her into drugs, and we will believe her.
I swear, seeing his face alone every morning is enough to drive one to take drugs to numb fear
I suspect that this is one last fight that Senator Ned Nwoko can not win with his usual gra-gra; he should just handle with wisdom.
Sadly, he can’t run to his Obi to ‘put mouth’, that one is still nursing the wounds of his last arrest and still mourning his subjects that have disappeared, leaving him all alone to drag Regina, who has him by his whittled balls.
I really don’t envy the Senator at this point, I really don’t.
Please don’t come and beat me, I’m not really in the mood today
Thanks
