The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has announced that it will be investigating Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo popular as Tompolo over his abuse of the naira.
The anti-graft commission stated this in an X posted shared today, Tuesday, May 13.
In the post titled: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”, the EFCC shared a photo of the former militant leader dressed in a red skirt and a white T-shirt beating a gong, even as it assured that Tompolo will answer questions regarding his abuse of the naira when he is invited to its office.
The abuse of the naira has been a popular campaign with the EFCC in recent times with several socialites and celebrities including Iyabo Ojo, Emeka Okonkwo and several others haven been invited for questioning.
