Amidst several speculations about the alleged relationship between Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, and Pastor Chris Okafor, the thespian has now opened up on what happened.
In an interview with Daddy Freeze, Ogala claimed that they dated for years before parting ways.
According to her, the relationship with Pastor Okafor began in 2017, after they met by chance in Abuja. The actress revealed that when they met, Okafor didn’t reveal that he was a Pastor, and told her he was divorced at the time.

She explained that her eventual husband was someone from her past who resurfaced during a vulnerable period, the death of her father. She revealed that she married him despite not being in love, adding that her family pushed her into the marriage.
Ogala described her marriage as abusive and toxic, alleging repeated physical violence and emotional distress. Also, she admitted that while her marriage was ongoing, she remained emotionally connected to Pastor Okafor. She openly acknowledged engaging in phone intimacy with him during that period, but maintained that there was no physical sexual relationship between them while she was married.
According to her, the Pastor remained her emotional support during that time, which is why communication between them never completely stopped. Ogala confirmed that she has evidence to back up her story, including chats and videos, which she said Pastor Okafor later shared with his lawyers.
