Minister Of Works, Umahi Berates Contractor Over Poorly Constructed Road

Dave Umahi has proven to be one of the few cabinet members of President Bola Tinubu who has hit the ground running.

Since his appointment as minister, Umahi has been on a tour of states in Nigeria, inspecting countless road projects.

The former governor of Ebonyi State proved he is indeed a round pole in a round whole when he recently addressed a contractor for doing a shoddy job during a road project inspection in the South East.

Umahi had gone to inspect the road, however, he was dissatisfied with the level of work done so far. Typically, he informed the contractor that the Federal governor would not be paying him his balance for the poor job done so far.

The contractor in his defense claimed he had done so many jobs for the Ministry of Works in the time past and even received commendations.

Responding, Umahi said if the job he has seen is the level of jobs he does as a contractor, then he should be ashamed of himself.
