Lagos Government Clarifies Ambiguity Surrounding Parking Authority

The Lagos State government has clarified rumours surrounding the collection of parking fees by its Parking Authority.
In a statement shared on social media, the state government stated that the Lagos State Parking Authority (LSPA), does not charge a fee for parking inside a resident’s compound.
According to the government, claims contrary to this is false and malicious, the state government said that “only the parking at setbacks which belong to the State Government attracts a fee.”
The statement read;
The Lagos State Parking Authority does not charge a fee for parking inside a residents’ compound. Only the parking at setbacks which belong to the State Government attracts a fee. Kindly disregard all false and malicious.”
