Lagos APC Chieftain Is Dead
A chieftain of the Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC), has died.
Timothy Oyasodun, a politician and cleric died on Saturday, December 26.
He was a chairman of the ruling party in Bariga Local Government Development Council, Somolu Local Government Area.
His death has since been described as “a great loss to the entire progressive family in Lagos state.”
Prior to being the chairman of Bariga APC, Oyasodun was the secretary-general of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Somolu and Kosofe LGAs.
Reacting to the party chieftain’s demise in a statement, Senator representing Lagos East senatorial district, Tokunbo Abiru, described Oyasodun as a man who “devoted his life to serving God, humanity and Lagos APC at large.
“Revd Oyadosun had also served as Secretary-General of UNCP in Somolu LGA; Secretary-General of Apex Leaders, Somolu/Bariga Alliance for Democracy and Secretary-General of Apex Leaders, Somolu/Bariga APC.
“May Almighty Allah repose his soul and grant his immediate and political family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
