Kidnapping: Gunmen Abduct Community Leader

The spate of insecurity in the southwestern part of Nigeria is on a continuous rise.
This is as armed men suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Tajudeen Omotayo, a community leader in Imope, Ijebu-North LGA of Ogun State.
Omotayo who is popularly known as Oba Alade meta of Imope town, was abducted while he was on his way back home on Saturday afternoon, March 20.
Speaking on the kidnap on Monday, March 22, a resident of the town said that the victim left his place for Ijebu-Ode around 11 am in his car.
The source went on to note that the victim was kidnapped around 3:00 pm at Oke-Eri of Imope. He was taken by the unknown gunmen who left his vehicle on the road.
When contacted, the police spokesperson in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident.
