Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has taken a jab at celebrities who take shortcuts to achieve body fitness.
The 52-year-old thespian who has become popular for keeping fit and via discipline, and premium body goals recently jumped on the viral “nothing do my shoulder” trend, as she expressed herself leaving fans curious.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Henshaw is seen strutting out of the gym.
She captioned the video, “Nothing do my shoulder. I just remember say I work hard for this body. No be by slimming tea, waist trainers and the others.”
While she didn’t mention names, there was no hiding the subtle jab at the growing culture of quick fixes, shortcuts, and glorified waist trainers and slimming teas.
Among other actresses, Mercy Johnson Okogie and Enioa Badmus are two notable celebrities who are currently slimmer either via slimming tea or going under the knife.
Okogie is currently promoting a slimming tea popular as Mercy Magic.
According to the actress, the tea helped her get her dream body. While promoting the tea, the actress noted that each pack contains the detox tea, the slimming tea, and a free 1-month meal plan.
