The city of Ibadan is set to host this year’s Annual On-Air Media Lecture in celebration of the birthday of renowned broadcaster and cultural icon, Bayo Faleke.
Tagged “The Architecture of a Great Nation,” this year’s edition promises to bring together media professionals, thought leaders, and cultural enthusiasts in a reflective discourse on nation-building.
As part of the celebration, Bayo Faleke—popularly known as Bayo O—will launch a new book titled “People and Places: Nation by Design” on Friday, March 27, 2026.
The event will be broadcast live from Fresh FM Nigeria 105.9 Ibadan, with the Chairman of Fresh Worldwide, Yinka Ayefele, serving as the chief host and welcoming guests.

Bayo Faleke, an award-winning broadcaster, currently serves as the Marketing Manager for Fresh FM Nigeria Group and the General Manager of TiwanTiwa FM, a subsidiary of the Fresh FM media network.
Over the years, he has made significant contributions to education, broadcasting, entertainment, and humanitarian development through various creative works. His portfolio includes projects such as Banana Republic, Rubicon (cinema movie), The Dilemmas of a Country (his debut book released in 2018), National Cake albums 1 & 2, Epistle to Baba Maigaskiya, and Revelation video/album.
The upcoming release of “People and Places: Nations by Design” further underscores his commitment to thought leadership and national discourse through media and literature.
