The round of applause is still ringing in the ears of fans of Mavin Records First Lady, Tiwa Savage.
Tiwa Savage beat popular musicians such as Davido, Fally Ipupa, Distruction Boyz, Shekhinahd and Nyashinski to win the ‘Best African Act’ category of the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The award ceremony which held in Bilbao, Spain on Sunday, November 4, was her making history, as the first female act to win the ‘Best African Act’ category.
Tiwa Savage made history with her first nomination for the MTV EMA. Davido picked the award for the category in 2017.
