How Police Saved Man Who Stabbed Girl To Death
The police in Owere, Imo state prevented a man who stabbed a girl to death from being lynched.
A mob who had witnessed the development tried to attack the man, but was prevented by policemen who intervened to stop the attack
Said to be mentally unstable, some people called him a ‘Yahoo boy’ planning to carrying out money rituals.
He was detained by members of the community after he allegedly stabbed the youngster to death with a knife at Douglas market in Owerri.
In a video shared online, some members of the community can be seen carrying tire to set the man on fire, but they couldn’t get close to the man as the police officers intervened.
