Billionaire businessman, Terry Waya, has revealed how he made his money and became what he is today.

The father of recently evicted Big Brother Naija reality show contestant, Kiddwaya, revealed this in an interview he granted.

According to the Benue born man, he became a billionaire by working hard because he was not born into wealth.

Detailing how he made his money, the flamboyant man said that he lived in Kaduna before relocating to Abuja during the military regime of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.

According to him, that was the point where he made his breakthrough in life. Explaining the lifestyle of his children, the senior Waya said that he got married in Kaduna, had his kids before sending them off to a boarding school in London.

Taking credit for discovering the popular Banana Island Estate in Ikoyi Lagos, he said that he was given the job to develop the area, but brought Gilbert Chagoury to work on the project.

On the money laundering allegation that has been trailing him since 2005, he denied that he was charged for money laundering in the UK, but claimed that it was only mortgage deception he committed.
