How Fans Celebrated Veteran Actor Pete Edochie At 72

On Thursday, March 7, Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie turned a year older.
The celebration was prayer-filled, as fans showered him with commendation and prayers.
Born on 7th March 1947, Edoche considered one of Africa’s most talented actors began his career as an administrator and broadcaster.
He became popular in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in the adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s bestselling novel ‘Things Fall Apart’, a series which aired on NTA Network.
Since then he has featured in hundreds of award-winning movies and stage plays both home and abroad.
