Hope Uzodinma Emerges Winner Of Imo Governorship Election

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has been declared the winner of the Saturday, November 11, Imo State Governorship election.
Uzodinma was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He was re-elected as the governor of the state.
According to the results announced by Professor Abayomi Fasina, the Returning officer the election this morning November 12, Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress (APC) polled a total of 540, 308 votes.
His closest rival, People Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Anyanwu polled a total of 71, 503 votes while Labour Party (LP) Athan Achonu polled a total of 64, 081 votes.
