Gunmen Kidnap Two Catholic Priests In Niger State

Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted two catholic priests.
The priest were serving at St Luke’s Catholic Church, Gyedna, Garam Ward in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State.
Identified as Fr Paul Sanogo and Seminarian Melchior, they were reportedly abducted in the early hours of Thursday, August 3.
According to Daily Trust, eyewitness said that the kidnappers shot into the air for over an hour before they whisked away the two priests.
Their abduction has been confirmed by Catholic Bishop of Minna, Most Rev Dr Martin Igwe Uzoukwu.
