Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable has tendered a public apology to the pastor he slapped for preaching in front of his bar.

At the time of the incident, it sparked widespread reaction on social media with many condemning the singer for his actions
Apologising, Portable said ‘Please forgive me”, as he wept.
In a video released online, the singer Habeeb Okikiola could be seen weeping as he apologised to the cleric who accepted his apology. Portable also asked other pastors to forgive him.
Many have however said that it is the fear of the wrath of God that made the singer apologise.
