The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested the immediate past governor of Benue State, Mr. Gabriel Suswam.
Suswam, was arrested on allegations of graft perpetrated during his tenure as governor.
Suswam was detained early Monday afternoon when he arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja following an earlier invitation.
His arrest was confirmed by the EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwajaren. Suswam served as governor from 2007-2015.
