The seasonal initiative saw the company visit several schools and care centres, where it distributed large quantities of food items to children, the elderly, and persons living with disabilities. The outreach forms part of Dufil Prima Foods’ annual tradition of giving back, with a focus on ensuring that disadvantaged members of society are supported and remembered during the festive season.

Among the beneficiary institutions were Heart of Gold Hospices; Bethesda Home and School for the Blind; Holy Family Home for the Elderly; Modupe Cole Memorial Childcare and Treatment Home School; Heritage Home for the Abandoned and Orphaned Children; and Little Saints Orphanage. At each stop, representatives of the company delivered food supplies while sharing messages of encouragement, solidarity, and compassion.

At the Bethesda Home and School for the Blind, the intervention extended beyond food support. In addition to cartons of Indomie, the students received a cash donation, while the company also announced plans to include some of the school’s outstanding students in its 2026 scholarship programme. The pledge reflects Dufil Prima Foods’ commitment to inclusive development and empowerment, particularly for individuals living with disabilities.

Olatunji Johnson, a Senior Special Educator at the school, described the outreach as meaningful and far-reaching. He noted that the initiative sent a strong message of inclusion, adding that the scholarship commitment would have a lasting impact on the lives and aspirations of the students.

The gesture was equally appreciated at the Holy Family Home for the Elderly, where residents expressed gratitude for the visit. Elizabeth Ikeh, a supervisor at the facility, said the outreach brought warmth and reassurance to the elderly, especially at a time when many feel isolated during the festive period.

Speaking on the initiative, Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager at Dufil Prima Foods Ltd., said the outreach reflects the company’s core values and sense of social responsibility.

“The festive season is a reminder of compassion, empathy, and our shared humanity. At Dufil Prima Foods, we are deliberate about supporting the most vulnerable members of our communities. Our goal is not only to provide nourishment, but also to restore dignity, inspire hope, and create meaningful impact,” she said.

Through the Christmas outreach, Dufil Prima Foods continues to position itself as a purpose-driven organisation, committed to making a positive difference beyond its products by investing in people and communities.
