Death Anniversary: Rita Edochie Defends May Edochie

Actress, Rita Edochie has defended May Edochie from critics slamming her for not celebrating the anniversary of the death of her son on social media.

Recall that May’s son, Kambilichukwu which she had for her estranged husband, Yul Edochie passed while playing in school.

On the boy’s death anniversary, Yul posted an Instagram message remembering his son. However, May did not, leading to her being criticised by netizens.

Reacting, Rita Edochie pointed out that May respectfully stayed off social media that day to honour her son’s memory.

She added that although it was May’s friend, Anita Joseph’s birthday that day, May did not celebrate her until the following day. Rita warned critics against telling a grown woman how to mourn.
