D’banj: A case of a confused entertainer

One fact which you cannot deny Dapo Oyebanji also known as D’banj is that he is an entertainer.

As an aspiring artiste he was described as a no good, at least musically.

However, with persistence and persiverance Dbanj soon excelled with songs like ” Bo Lowon Won” making him the star of his genre of music.

Overtime, and after establishing his self as an entertainer D’banj became more popular with his fans even to the extent of creating his own reality show, Koko Mansion. Though not officially he soon changed into the Koko Master, as before anyone could say Jack a battle of sort began between his names with some people calling him the Koko Master and others preferring to maintain the more popular and traditional D’banj while others tried to make meaning out of his several aliases.

That said, the break up of Mohit and the subsequent parting of ways between D’banj and Don Jazzy meant that the singer had to change identity again and just like that he brought the name Ejanla to bearing. And just as his fans and music aficionados were getting used to that one another name ranted the air and it was Banger Lee.

The Banger Lee name has brought a lot of speculation to the artiste, as a lot of people have wondered what it means and what could have motivated the name to no avail. A cross section of fans of the artiste who spoke to www.theoctopusnews.com revealed the artiste is just being his self by been lousy. An undergraduate of University of Lagos who identified himself as Bolaji Oluseyi opined that the multiple names been exhibited by Dbanj are just signs that he is a confused fellow.

As we await D’banj’s next move after his DKM Concert one can only wonder if there are other names lined up for the artiste, as presently his fans are saying they are at a loss at to what name to use in identifying with him.
