Davido Reacts To Losing Grammy Award To South African Singer, Tyler
Afrobeats musician, Davido has reacted to his loss at the recently held 66th edition of the Grammy Awards.
Davido was nominated along with Tyler in the Best Music Performance category, however, the award was won by the South African.
Reacting to the loss, David noted that there is nothing as painful as losing, especially when one is very close to winning something as important as the Grammy Awards.
However,the music star whose real name is David Adeleke, added that he is very proud of himself for being nominated.
Davido who spoke during an interview said,“Being nominated alone is enough to make me proud of myself. I just want my song to be heard on the radio once or twice in the beginning, but for it to transcend to this is just amazing and God’s doing.
“I was on the phone with my dad yesterday and he was like ‘Son no matter what happens, you are still a legend’. So yeah, he is a big fan.”
