South Africa’s Treasure; Cape Town is the proud host of the 16th annual Jazz Festival.
The event, attracts both local and international jazz fans to five different stages across the city to watch musicians do what they are best at doing.
The festival features everything from classic jazz and funks to spoken-words and Afropop for two straight days to audience as diverse as the jazz style themselves. This year’s edition holds 27th and 28th of March.
The Cape Town International Jazz Festival not only features performances by the world’s top musicians – it also boasts a free community concert in the historic Greenmarket Square and also plays an important role in preserving the cultural diversity of the Mother City.
