Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’, Burna Boy, has paid tribute to late reggae icon, Majek Fashek.
The legendary musician died on Tuesday, June 2.
Writing a short tribute to the Rainmaker, Burna Boy described him as a great musician whose lyrics remain a wake-up call to Africans to date.
“Majek Fashek was a great musician. The lyrics to his song ‘So Long, Too Long’ remains true as a wakeup call to Africans till today. Rest in peace to a legend,” Burna Boy wrote.
