Multiple news platforms are reporting the death of Senator Ifeanyi Uba.
According to the reports, Uba died in a room in a hotel in London, United Kingdom at the age of 52.
Though information about his death is still sketchy, his death was said to have been confirmed on a group chat of senators.
Uba was eyeing APC’s nomination for the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State.
Until his death, he was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and represented Anambra South senatorial district in the 10th Senate.
His death comes barely a day after the passing of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
