BBN: Why I Joined American Army-Pere

Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, Pere, has shared details of his life in the American Army.
The housemate shared the information during a chat with his fellow housemates, detailing why he joined the army after he got to America in 20109, and received his green card in 2010.
According to him, he joined the army in order to be able to become an American citizen quickly.
Pere said that his decision for joining the army was personal because he wanted to get his green card quickly.
Detailing his war experience, Pere said that he went to Afghanistan and was in an active war zone where there were IEDs.
He also revealed that he spent six years of his eight years with the army before realizing that the army wasn’t for him.
“The first two years are not important, but the remaining six years are. So, I spent the first two years, but spent four years out of the remaining six years.”
