Atiku Abubakar Set To Host Mother Of All Wedding For Daughter
Northern Nigeria is set to witness a carnival-like wedding with Laila Abubakar, daughter of former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar set to walk the isle.
The beauty is set to marry Saleh Maitala on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the National Mosque, Abuja.
Guests from all works of life are expected to storm the venue for the colourful and highly anticipated wedding.
The road to the nuptial commenced last year when the politician hosted the groom’s family when they came to ask for Laila’s hand in marriage.
“It was much to my delight to host the family of Alhaji Iliyasu Maitala, who had come asking for the hands of one of my daughters, Ms Laila Atiku, in marriage. I thank Allah SWT for the opportunity of this day and pray for His grace and mercies upon the new relationship between our two families,” remarked after hosting the family of the groom to be.
