At last, Don Rotimi Amaechi Takes A Bow

There is no doubt that James Ibori remains one of the last “Dons” in the politics of Nigeria, especially with his ability to maintain prominence despite being in jail in London.
However, the Don who is making things happening presently is former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
Amaechi who has been under series of attack from governor Nyesom Wike has simply maintained his silence keeping his eye focused on the goal ahead even amidst tribulations and doubts that he would make the ministerial list of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Senate Petitions committee recently cleared Amaechi of all petitions brought against him before the senate over his ministerial nomination.
According to the senate petition committee, the matters brought before it by the petitioners are currently in court and so will not be interfering in such matters. They immediately cleared Rotimi and asked him to take a bow and go. They asked all the petitioners to wait for the outcome of the various cases in court.
