Annie Macaulay, the estranged wife of Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia has revealed that her children keep her going despite her marital changes.
Macaulay who stepped out for some fresh air at the 17th Headies Award on Sunday introduced herself as Annie Macaulay as she made to climb the stage.
Initially introducing herself as Annie Idibia, she immediately corrected herself to reflect her new status of being single.
“My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies,” she blurted out.
Her slip drew attention and cheers from the audience.
Speaking about her family at the event, she said: “My children dey Kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”
This comes just after reports surfaced that 2Face had introduced his lover, Natasha Osawaru to his mother and other family members.
