If a song is good enough, you play it twice. Also, if a wine tastes good, you drink it again.

This is one analogy which Akinwunmi Adeshina, the President of the African Development Bank (ADB), is hanging unto presently.

Adeshina’s developmental strides since becoming the president of the ADB has been laudable.

During his first tenure, the bank funded some of the most important projects in Africa.

Currently lobbying for a second term in office, he got a boost when he was nominated for another term in office by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Definitely a good wine; many hold the opinion that he deserves a second term in office. But will it come?
