AbujaWalid Jibrin Steps Down As PDP BoT Chairman

AbujaWalid Jibrin has stepped down as the chairman of the board of trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Jibrin made the announcement on Thursday, September 8, at the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
According to him, his resignation was to curb the crisis in the party and make sure that the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, emerges president in 2023.
