Abdulsalam Rabiu: Philanthropist Par Excellence

For many, Abdulsalam Rabiu, the chairman of Bua Group is a businessman.
But the man’s appellation goes far beyond simply being a businessman, as he is a man with a heart of Gold.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and a show of financial strength by several organisations, the man has remained steadfast and focused on his bid to ensure the eradication of the virus.
Known to have contributed handsomely to the private sector fund for combating the virus in the past, Rabiu’s hunger to quickly see the end of the virus has seen him donating to the same course again and again.
The businessman, who had initially donated N1 billion to the private sector-led fund, announced the release of another N3.3 billion grant to the working group made up of the Presidential Task Force, and Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), putting the amount he has injected into the course to N4.6 billion.
