Abayomi Akinruntan Finds Solace In Politics

There are people who do not find a career rest until they eventually find where they really belong.
Honourable Abayomi Akinruntan is one of such people, as the dark-complexioned man had several appointments before finding the right one that has defined his person.
At some point, the scion of the Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan was involved in the running of Obat Oil and Petroleum Limited, one of Nigeria’s major indigenous oil companies.
In 2001, he became the Operations Manager of Obat Oil, overseeing the operations and logistics at the company’s head office and service outlets in Ibadan.
At another point, the younger Akinruntan was the Director, Operations for Febson Hotel Nigeria Ltd, an Ultra-Modern Facility in Abuja, while also finding time to manage his De Ark Entertainment and Records.
In 2011, he was appointed Group Executive Director, Operations, Obat Group before launching a career in politics in 2011.
Though he failed to achieve his desire that year, he eventually won the Ondo State House of Assembly election in 2015, becoming an honourable member of the house.
Since then, the politician has not looked back, as he has continued to rise, while growing in experience, even rising to the post of the assembly’s Parliamentary Secretary.
Five years after being elected into office, the politician who represents Ilaje 1 constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly has not only done well for himself, but has extended his hands of fellowship to several less privileged individual.
