Boypee Reacts To Suggestions He Asked YouTube To Drop ‘Ogechi Remix’ Video
Raising music star, Boypee, has refuted reports that he, Brown Joel and Hyce reported the video of ‘Ogechi remix’ for violation of copyright.
The remix version of the song is a collaborative effort between Davido, Brown Joel and Hyce, and was the wedding song of Afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife, Chioma.
However, the video of the song was pulled down from DMW YouTube page by YouTube over copyright issues.
Subsequently, an X user with the handle @Johnnyescoba posted a report credited to Boypee, one of the artiste that featured on the song with Davido.
The user claimed that the video was removed because the DMW boss wanted to take all the royalties from the views.
The user wrote, “‘We had to take down the Ogechi Remix video cuz Davido wanted to take all the royalties.’
“-Boypee in a recent interview.”
However, quoting the post, Boypee debunked the claim, saying; “You and who talk that one? To what profit eh guy? Wetin you wan use my downfall do?”
