Litmus test for Sade Tinubu-Ojo
The death of Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, the late Iya Oloja of Lagos, opened the door of opportunities for Sade Tinubu-Ojo, wife of Oyetunde Ojo, and daughter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC), national leader, to become who she is today.
Following the demise of Alhaja Mogaji and prior to the announcement of the next Iya Oloja talks made the round that whoever was going to occupy the office must be from the Tinubu lineage, as the post was too sensitive to be given to just anybody.
At a point in time, some people even argued that the office is so sensitive that it needed an ideal leader, as the population of market men and women in Lagos State would go a long way in deciding the outcome of any election.
With Sade Tinubu eventually promoted from her office in the Lagos State Market Development Board she went to work mobilising traders in Lagos.
With the Lagos State gubernatorial elections drawing nearer most people are eager to see how Sade Tinubu will rally her wards together for the betterment of APC, her party.
