Shehu Sani Mocks Tinubu Over N48,000 Minimum Wage

Senator Shehu Sani has mocked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration over its recently proposed N48,000 minimum wage.
Sani said that the proposed minimum wage can only be likened to what Al-Majiri would use to feed themselves, however, describing it as half bread that is still better than none.
The politician who represented Kaduna Central in the eighth assembly condemned the N48,000 minimum wage proposed by the federal government in the ongoing negotiation with organised labour.
“48k minimum wage is an Almajiri offer to Labour, but quarter moi moi is better than non,” Sani wrote.
The organised labour is demanding N615,000 for a new minimum wage.
