Ifeanyi Ubah Dumps YPP For APC

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from Young Progressives Party (YPP).
The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District communicated his decision in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a brief plenary session on Thursday, October 12.
Ubah’s defection was due to irreconcilable differences in the YPP. The letter further explained that Ubah’s decision is in the interest of his constituents.
The Capital Oil boss won another four-year term in Nigeria’s Senate during the February 25 general election.
