Terrorist Group Claims Responsibility For Shooting Down NAF Helicopter

A group linked to notorious terrorist, Dogo Gide, has claimed responsibility for shooting down a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) surveillance helicopter.
In a two-minute-and-seventeen-second video making rounds online, some terrorists claimed they brought down the helicopter using AK47 rifle.
Recall that NAF confirmed the crash of one of it’s helicopters on Monday, August 14, adding that it crashed in Badna, Chukuba ward of Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
NAF also said that it had commenced a probe to determine the probable cause of the incident.
The narrator in the video who spoke in Hausa, said they belonged to Dogo Gide group, one of the notorious bandits that had terrorised parts of Niger State, causing deaths of many farmers and security operatives.
