Peter Okoye endorses entertainers turned politician
A lot of negative comments have trailed entertainers who have gone into politics.
However, in recent times positive comments and words of support have been coming from their colleagues.
One artiste who has thrown his weight behind these entertainers is Peter Okoye.
Okoye, one of the twin brothers who make up the music group, P-Square, took to Twitter to endorse his colleagues. The artiste wrote “Nigeria’s development is dependent on its youth, it is only natural that we are part of that change that we so much desire. To all my fellow entertainers running for political offices, you have my loyal support, it is a development that is welcomed,” he concluded.
The artiste is one of the few entertainers who have openly endorsed the idea, which has since gone viral.
Acts such as 9ice, Tony Tetuila, Muma Gee, KateHenshaw among others have declared interest in contesting one political office or the other
